ABOUT US
AIMEE IMAI
As a child, Aimee was always in the ocean or getting her hands dirty on land. Catching bugs and lizards, fishing. Playing in the garden and learning how to grow herbs and plants from her parents.
Always exploring and treasure hunting for that special rock or flowers to make a little bouquet. She’d spend her summers in California working in the Driscoll strawberry fields alongside her grandparents. Pushing around a little wooden wheelbarrow with a bowl of sugar and a rice ball for lunch. Then in her teens, learning how to propagate succulents and design plants for her Mom’s small business.
…and so from an early age, Aimee learned that hard work and willingness to get your hands dirty reaped all the benefits of nature.
“Plantaholic. On road to recovery. Just kidding. On the road to buy more plants!”
Two childhoods colliding. Our souls connected through mother nature.
Motherhood
brought us back to our childhood passions. Wanting and needing to create something new.
For our children, and for their future.
Meanwhile, Greer was growing up foraging under the Evergreen forests of the Oregon Coast. Always dreaming of the next nature inspired creation. Being tactile she has a need to create with her hands.
Obsessive about flora and fauna. Playing with biophillic design began in the hospitality industry. Working at a small boutique inn she was able to begin her practice of floral arranging. The quest for less waste brought her to a more plant focused design.
“Plants just live longer and keep giving. To bring a living breathing work of art inside, is transformative. The energy is changed. We need more plant energy around for our souls.”
